A beautiful Mississippi spring wedding day at Cottonwood Manor for the Owen’s! If I had to choose three words to describe Jaclyn and Parker’s wedding day it would be intentional, thoughtful, and joyful. A few of my favorite moments from Parker and Jaclyn’s wedding day include Jaclyn’s attention to detail, the florals, and the joyful and tear filled first looks with her dad, bridesmaids, and Parker. You are not going to want to miss scrolling through every detail of their day!

Jaclyn was the epitome of an organized bride, and would you believe me if I told you she created AND designed her own invitations?! I know, I was impressed too! I also love that she included Parker’s dress shoes, cuff links, tie, watch, and ring into their flat lay images. It added the perfect touch to their gallery. Do not even get me started on Jaclyn’s heels that I will link here if you’re in the market for a wedding day heel. They photographed beautifully along with her invitational suite. Every detail from her dress, to the flat lay details, to the florals and cake was an absolute dream come true. I cherish the small details of your wedding day because they are the memories you will most likely forget and love to look back on.

Getting Ready

Right after detail photos we toasted mimosas with Jaclyn’s bridal party. We then had the sweetest and most intimate moments with her mom while she got into her wedding dress. Although Jaclyn’s mom had already seen her in her dress for her bridal portrait session, that did not stop the tears from flowing. One thing I love to reiterate on weddings days is this is ONE day. Take as much time as you need to soak in all of these precious moments and really focus on being present. These are fleeting memories you cannot get back. Looking at Jaclyn’s mom fighting back tears and Jaclyn’s smile, I think it’s safe to say they soaked in every ounce.

Bride and Groom

Above are a few of my favorite shots from Jaclyn and Parker’s first look and bride and groom portraits. The number one benefit to a first look is having more time together on your wedding day. This also allows you to have more bride and groom portraits! The videographers and I were also able to steal Jaclyn and Parker from the reception for a few sunset portraits. Jaclyn and Parker where both so open to any ideas and suggestions the videographers and I had and it made our job SO easy! There are truly not enough words to describe how amazing this day was.
