Martin Family-Mini Blog-Mississippi Photographer

As a Mississippi photographer, I love capturing special moments for families along our beautiful Gulf Coast. There’s something so meaningful about preserving organic memories of time spent together, especially in a beautiful, natural setting like the beach.

When the Martin family signed up for my annual beach minis, I was ecstatic! Lauren is actually a professional photographer herself so to be trusted to capture her sweet family was such an honor! Silly, joyful moments emerged organically, as Lauren, her husband John Lloyd, and their daughter Emma Kate explored! I will never forget Emma Kates contagious giggles and how the golden sun kissed her curls! The weather was perfect, with sunny skies and a light breeze coming off the water.

Lauren had on a gorgeous white maxi dress that flowed beautifully in the wind, while John Lloyd wore khaki shorts and a white short sleeve button down. Little Emma Kate was adorable in her white and blue sun dress. As I started taking photos, Emma Kate’s sweet little personality shined! John Lloyd and Lauren would tickle Emma Kate which made for the cutest family portraits. The way Lauren and John Lloyd both interacted with their daughter was so sweet!

It was such a joy photographing the Martins. Beach family sessions like this are always my favorite to photograph. The Martins reminded me that life’s simple moments with your loved ones (especially your little loved ones) are the most precious. I’m grateful they signed up for beach minis and can’t wait to photograph them again!
